WHAT YOU'LL DO AT COASTAL
The primary focus of this position is to develop new merchant services clients. This is accomplished through a combination of self-generated leads, prospecting, networking and working with bank staff.
HOW YOU'LL DO IT
Deliver a consultative sales approach by helping business clients to assess their payment processing needs and then delivering solutions that address those needs.
Present completed Merchant proposals to the Merchant prospect.
Self-generate leads and referrals for sales opportunities.
Participate in training with Merchant Vendor to improve sales and understand product offerings.
Responsible for meeting sales volumes and/or profitability goals and standards of activity, such as number of sales calls, sales goals and referral goals for other bank products.
Conduct joint business development calls with Relationship Managers, Treasury Management, BDO's and Branch staff to identify sales opportunities.
Compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Stay up-to-date with new features and product launches.
Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from prospects, customers and co-workers.
Reliable transportation for sales calls.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous outside sales experience with business clients.
Previous Merchant Services sales experience to businesses.
Experience in Treasury Management a plus.
PC Experience navigating in a Windows environment and using multiple applications.
