The Merchant Services Product Delivery position resides within the Commercialization team as an extension of the Product organization. The Product Delivery Manager covers the Small Business, and WePay segments reporting to the Vice President Team Lead for Commercialization. This position will be integral to the delivery of product solutions designed on the Chase/WePay platform. The Product Delivery Manager is responsible for developing and executing a go-to-market plan that delivers an exceptional client experience, in partnership with product management and other key business partners within the organization. The Product Delivery Manager will oversee new product launches and major enhancements to existing products, as well as readiness for major change events that impact the segment.

Specifically, the Product Delivery Manager is responsible for delivering and executing a go-to-market plan for each product launch or initiative by driving strong collaboration with the Product Manager and partners in Field Strategy, Operations and Marketing. The Product Manager is the subject matter expert for the product functionality and defines the product roadmap and business requirements for enhancements. The Product Delivery Manager then partners with the Product Manager to provide consultative service and hands-on support to bring new capabilities to market. The Product Delivery Manager serves as an internal consultant to the Product Managers and is also responsible for publication of product collateral, as well as monitoring product KPI and KRIs following implementation.

Essential components of the role:

  • Develop, communicate and execute go-to-market commercialization plans for strategic product initiatives

  • Collaborate across all departments, conducting an impact assessment and identifying stakeholders are ready for planned implementation dates

  • Partner with marketing teams on value proposition, client deliverables and communications

  • Partner with operations to ensure internal readiness and support

  • Partner with field strategy to ensure a thoughtful plan on sales readiness

  • Contribute to project planning process to ensure all readiness activities are included and tracked in the project delivery schedule

  • Develop and/or maintain product documentation and SharePoint knowledge sites

  • Become the subject matter expert to support business process questions, sales presentation and messaging deliverables, and training content planning and delivery

  • Deliver and/or coordinate and facilitate product training and knowledge transfer sessions to impacted audiences, if requested

  • Bachelor's degree required, Masters/MBA preferred

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience with background in product management, product marketing, strategy and planning, or project management. Payments industry or FinTech experience preferred.

  • Drives cross-collaboration across all levels of the organization

  • In-depth knowledge and experience supporting sales, relationship management, marketing and operational teams.

  • Drives clarity across competing priorities with willingness to roll up sleeves, always poised and positive even in situations influenced by frequent change, disagreement, stress, and ambiguity. Adaptable to change.

  • Strategic and thoughtful communicator with outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Takes initiative for developing commercialization plans and ownership for executing tactical steps within the plans

  • Holds an eagle eye attention to detail and conducts follow up needed on many moving parts within project plans. Escalates as necessary, with factual commentary, and recommendations for possible solutions.

Their role is to drive responsible growth, consulting with small business clients to understand their business priorities and provide solutions that meet their needs with a focus on more complex opportunities and solutions. They are an integral contributor to One Team and will spend dedicated time in financial centers engaging in partner routines, accepting in person client appointments, referrals and introductions and coaching their colleagues on how to identify merchant opportunities and make quality referrals. They will also develop opportunities with their partners, go on joint client calls and meet clients at their place of business.
