Essential Responsibilities:

  • Partners with MSA(s) and assumes responsibility for the accurate and complete preparation of merchant services documents including contract detail for new relationships and updates / maintenance for existing member services.

  • Assists Director of Merchant Services with monthly report generation, sales promotion materials, and other requests as needed.

  • Maintains pipeline of up-to-date activity from vendor on proposal requests, existing member updates and applications.

  • Provides assistance with product research requests as needed.

  • Reviews completed Merchant documents for accuracy and completion, delivers to Implementation team to coordinate equipment installation and company training for merchant services.

  • Assists with relationship reviews of members and partners with MSA(s) to provide recommendations and enhancements for merchant opportunities.

  • Coordinates delivery of updates/maintenance paperwork for existing members.

  • Assists with small business new relationship opportunities as needed from MSA(s).

  • Assists MSA(s) with accounts in MSA(s) absence.

  • Assists in setting up meetings, preparing presentations, sales materials, detailed planner and verification of individuals and meeting times.

  • Assumes responsibility for follow-up and resolutions of issues escalated to the MSA, coordinating with Support and other areas as appropriate.

  • Files and images documents as appropriate.

  • Maintain the Request for Proposal RFP database and assist MSA in completing RFPs.

  • Participate in ongoing Sales Team education related to merchant products.

  • Understanding of all applicable procedural and regulatory rules and guidelines

  • Understanding of Operational risks and related controls

  • Adheres to applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations including those related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong partnership and organization skills

  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills

  • Proficient in the use of MS Office; Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

  • Associates Degree and/or relevant work experience

  • Banking Experience

  • Strong Technical / Computer Skills

  • Strong Organizational and Multi-tasking skills

  • Detail oriented with strong time management skills

  • Ability to work independently and well under pressure

Desired Skills & Competencies:

  • Previous experience in Merchant Services

  • Previous experience with Power BI

Physical Requirements:

  • Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally.

  • Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, use your arms and legs, and sit most of the time.

  • Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation.

  • Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
