The Consumer Lending team partners with other businesses across Wells Fargo to create and deliver transformational experiences that help customers gain access to credit. The vision for the Consumer Lending business is to leverage technology and data to make it simple for customers to easily access credit when and where they need it. Consumer Lending serves customers across the country through our distribution network of more than 5,300 retail banking branches and Home Lending offices as well as online and digital channels.
The Business Associate 2 will provide a high level of operational support to an assigned team of Account Managers. This role may have direct interaction with merchants. Responsibilities will include:
Maintaining a high level of customer service
Gathering required data
Creating reports to assess the performance of existing accounts
Processing maintenance requests within tight deadlines in support of customer retention
In addition, they will be expected to actively solicit and follow through on customer operational needs, requests and resolution of problems. They will be afforded the opportunity to work closely with partners in Risk and Compliance. May also provide a high level of analytical support duties and help create process improvements.
To be successful in this role strong communication skills and organizational skills are required, as well as strong technical skills, particularly with Excel, and a proven ability to prioritize. They will be expected to operate independently, requiring minimal guidance and supervision.
Required Qualifications

A BS/BA degree or higher
2+ years of compliance experience
3+ years of payment processing industry experience
Risk management experience
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Customer service focus with experience actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending customer issues/needs, and recommending solutions
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
Effective organizational, multi tasking, and prioritizing skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
Other Desired Qualifications
Experience working effectively with all levels of senior management and across functional and business units
Capacity to summarize and consolidate complex information from multiple sources
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision toward the achievement of personal and team goals
High level of experience with other merchant processing solutions and technologies
Should possess excellent financial analytical skills

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
