Merchandising Manager, Ecommerce
Whirlpool is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Merchandising Manager, Ecommerce role. This person will help drive the success of our Ecommerce business by creating and executing innovative merchandising plans.
Develop, manage, and effectively communicate the Ecommerce promotional calendar with the intent of maximizing business value
Create and manage forecasts based on relevant inputs such as the promotional calendar, product availability, seasonality, industry dynamics, etc
Develop innovative tactics and merchandising campaigns to close any gaps between forecast and plan by driving profitability through volume, price and mix
Collaborate with Ecommerce team and process partners to plan, test, and execute promotional strategy
Act as the point person with sales operations and execute pricing and promotional activities
Manage your product categories on the website by adjusting product sequencing, promoted products, product badging, facets/refinements, category pages, search results, etc in an effort to drive volume, price and mix
Work to increase order size by increasing units per order and mix through merchandising campaigns and onsite tactics (such as up-selling and cross-selling)
Analyze your product category performance on daily, weekly, and monthly basis, and communicate results to key stakeholders
Develop and communicate insights that drive volume, profitability and mix improvements
Work collaboratively with the Ecommerce team to implement digital merchandising experiments and share the learnings to relevant parties
Monitor inventory and backorder levels and proactively address process deviations
Help resolve consumer escalations relating to your assigned categories
Degree in business is preferred
6+ years total work experience in a business environment, including cross-functional roles
2+ years' experience managing/implementing various eCommerce merchandising initiatives such as designing promotional plans, building forecasts, setting merchandising priorities, etc.
Highly analytical with proficiency in data analysis and reporting
Lifelong learner committed to continuous development and growth
Entrepreneurial mindset driving relentless pursuit of improvement and personal ownership of results
Self-starter, highly developed ability to receive and give feedback as well as to set priorities
Effective communicator across multi-functional teams
Experience with setting goals, hypothesizing improvements, optimizing, and measuring progress/success
Ecommerce, merchandising or digital marketing experience preferred
