Description

Will manage product assortment strategies and create consumer right assortments and channel edited offers for global distribution channels and levels. Will utilize marketplace data, consumer insights, and foresight and hindsight to drive assortments to timely deliver products to the appropriate marketplace.

Will work cross-categorically with internal partners on global and geography merchandising, sales, product, and brand teams to drive well-informed assortment strategies and ensure a holistic, premium, differentiated and elevated marketplace.

Will manage the creation of modular-based product assortment frameworks and develop consumer right assortments to execute the global strategy and deliver financial goals. Will oversee strategic conversations with product and sales teams and utilize marketplace capacity insights.

Will execute seasonal strategies as they relate to initiatives, assortments, and launches. Will ensure merchandising strategies are in alignment with the seasonal business vision and goals. Will collaborate cross-categorically and develop and maintain key relationships with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment and collaboration at all key decision points.

Will drive and execute appropriate product assortments. Will ensure regional execution of assortment strategies and segmentation in local marketplaces by fostering key relationships with geography counterparts and provide necessary tools. Will manage a team across multiple businesses.

Will engage in budget management. Will supervise three to five people. Will engage in 15 percent or less domestic and international travel.

Qualifications


Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Merchandising.

Will also accept a Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or Merchandising. Experience: 4 years of experience in merchandising for apparel or footwear products with Bachelor's degree or 2 years of experience in merchandising for apparel or footwear products with Master's degree. Skills/

Requirements:
2 years of experience : ((1) project management, (2) team management, (3) plan an apparel or footwear assortment for multiple seasons, (4) build and grow a particular footwear or apparel product to meet business goals, including financial targets, (5) create and deliver brand strategies across footwear or apparel assortments to foster growth, (6) brand management of footwear, apparel, and accessories assortments foster growth products to maintain a brand message, and (7) creation of promotion strategies across footwear, apparel, and accessory products to achieve positive brand coverage at a global level.

This role will be an integralpart of the Strategic Portfolio and Change Team and will be the PortfolioTransition Management Director for the Merchandising organization. Theincumbent will work closely with the Sr. Director for Merchandising Business Operationsto develop and execute a holistic and comprehensive functional transitionmanagement strategy to support its mission, strategy and goals. The PortfolioTransition Management Director, Merchandising, will also be working closelywith Capability TM Leads, other Functional Portfolio TM Directors, and leadersacross Categories, Design, Product and Merchandising (CDPM) to ensure thatactivation strategies for new cross functional capabilities maximize employeeadoption, minimize resistance, thus increasing benefit realization and valuecreation. Duties and Responsibilities * Defineand activate Merchandising Transition Management Strategies to support itsmission, strategy and goals * Leadfunctional portfolio prioritization, sequencing, change impact assessment,identification of change dependencies across functions, resource allocation /capacity to execute validation routines * Leadchange tradeoff/ risk discussions and recommend actionable solutions * Support/Partner with HR to amplify behaviors that enable x-functional collaboration andalignment * Elevatefunctional capability to absorb and lead change * Elevateagile and design thinking mindset within the Merchandising organization * Ensurethat appropriate TM resourcing is in place for Merchandising Led StrategicProjects; champions the use of standard CDPM TM methodology and framework * Providementoring to the TM practitioners within Merchandising * LeadTransition efforts for projects, as needed * Partnerwith project TM leads, Merchandising Communications Manager and CDPM TrainingManager to ensure holistic transition plans are in place for Merchandising Qualifications * A Bachelors degree in Business,Finance, Organizational Development or related disciplines. A Masters degree ina related field is preferred but not required. * Minimum of 8 years of specificexperience working with change management theory and execution on globalproject delivery with heavy focus on engagement, communications, readiness andtraining for multiple concurrent initiatives and/or deployments; 2 - 5 years ina managerial leadership role. * Demonstratedunderstanding of and experience in the application of change / transitionmanagement principles in an agile environment. * Expert-levelstakeholder engagement and alignment with demonstrated ability to managemultiple priorities and active streams of work. * Proventrack record of making change stick and driving adoption through realization ofbusiness benefits. * Problem-solverand analytical and critical thinker who can tie concepts to organizationstrategies and who can fluidly adapt to business challenges while maintainingbest practices and standards. * Excellentverbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at allorganizational levels, while clearly articulating goals/objectives/vision.
