The primary responsibilities of the Merchandising Coordinator are to provide business and administrative support the merchandising team in the tactics of running the business, including data entry, systems updating and reporting for the retail division.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Receipt Management track PO's, manage PO updates, partner to resolve issues, update deliveries and assure maintenance of order details in enterprise system

  • Enter PO's in Aptos Merchandise system / generate replenishment orders

  • Enter Promotional & Permanent Price Changes in Aptos Merchandise system

  • Process merchandise stock balancing and RTV's in Aptos Merchandise system

  • Manage Employee Intranet process (orders, inventory, communication)

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly Merchandise reporting

  • Complete event recaps for Merchandise team

  • Prepare promotional documents for Merchants in advance of monthly meetings

  • Process orders for service merchandise categories

  • Prepare necessary materials for internal / external meetings on behalf of the Merchandising team

  • Work cross functionally with multiple internal departments on special projects

  • Communicates with Store teams in field when necessary

  • Work with team on other projects as needed

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Merchandising / Buying

  • Prefer 1- 2 years of related experience in a similar position, retail experience preferred

  • Ability to take direction from multiple leaders

  • Ability to work in a demanding, fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities at a time

  • Ability to recognize and react to changing work demands

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong inter-personal skills and decision-making capabilities

  • Proven ability to work well both as part of a team and independently

  • Self-starter, strategic thinker, ambitious in nature, personable

  • Passionate about details and highly organized

  • Creative forward thinker and problem solver

  • Genuine interest in the business with high level of curiosity & eagerness to learn

  • Strong analytical and math skills required

  • Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, understanding of retail math a plus

  • Prefer strong systems knowledge (SAP, SharePoint, Aptos, etc.)
