Current Opportunity Project:
Grocery Start Date: 10/01/2018 (Actual dates and number of work days provided when assigned) Shift: 7am start Starting Pay: $11.50 per hour The ideal candidate is reliable and takes work seriously.
You must be able to work on a team with other reset merchandisers as well as work independently.
Reset experience is preferred but we are flexible if you're the right person with related experience in retail.
This is an independent contractor position, not part or full-time employment.
Job opportunities vary so there are no guaranteed set hours.

Job Summary As a reset merchandiser with ACM, you will be responsible for providing reset merchandising services to our clients.
You will take direction from an on-site team lead, merchandising products in large big-box retailers, drug stores and convenience stores across the country.
The job responsibilities for each project will vary.
The following list provides an outline of the typical duties for project work; specific duties related to each project will be provided when assigned.
Essential Job Responsibilities Review and confirm assignment details of what each project will entail.
Work as part of a reset team, following the direction of a team lead to complete all assigned tasks (e.g.
cleaning shelves/placing products, building and installing new fixtures or displays, setting up merchandise, cleaning and prepping the work area, etc). Understand and maintain product area planogram integrity.
Report issues that arise during the project to the team lead.
Maintain a positive working relationship with all store personnel.
Log billable time via a text-in or online system; required to log arrival time and departure time Maintain a consistent work record, including reporting to shift on-time and adhering to ACM guidelines.
Skills/Requirements A minimum of 1 year merchandising experience Ability to read and understand planograms / schematics written in English.
Basic knowledge of merchandising and retail terminology and concepts Be at least 18 years of age.
Valid photo identification and proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
Active email address and phone number Mobile device with text and Wi-Fi / data capability.
Reliable transportation to travel to all assigned locations.
Be timely, flexible and reliable to work.
Be able to work independently or as a member of a team.
Work Environment/Physical Demands Ability to repetitively lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 35 pounds without assistance.
Ability to exert oneself physically over sustained periods of time to complete job activities.
Stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time.
Precarious or high locations may be required; will be required to frequently climb and descend ladders.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, quick learner, has a strong attention to detail, and works well in independent situations. They must possess excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with business partners. Responsibilities * Read and follow a plan-o-gram to effectively complete project work. Have a working knowledge of merchandising and retail terminology. * Perform duties such as maintaining store shelf standards and inventory, including rotation of products, displaying merchandise properly, placing shelf strips and attaching tags properly, checking date codes and plan-o-gram integrity, and processing packouts, restocks and reorders as necessary. * Assist in gathering and moving materials, supplies, fixtures and equipment necessary for the assigned project work. * Partner with store personnel and co-workers to achieve and maintain merchandising excellence, discuss changes, and build an effective working relationship. * Report and discuss observations and issues with IMPACT Senior Area Manager/IMPACT Area Manager. * Effectively and accurately work with web based applications to indicate work availability, check schedule for work assignments, accept work assignments, receive work documentation and information, record work start and completion times, record work mileage, record work expenses, record work time and attendance, and complete training activities. * Effectively and accurately prepare, process, submit, and manage documentation related to assigned project work. * Perform job safely by demonstrating full awareness of his/her surroundings. Utilize proper safety techniques and equipment use when necessary. Be proactive in alerting management to any unsafe act or condition to prevent injuries. * Perform other duties as assigned. * Understand and follow all Acosta policies and standard operating procedures. Qualifications * At least 1 year of Customer Service experience preferred. Prior sales agent, retail and reset responsibility experience preferred * Strong demonstration of the following core competencies:Quality Commitment-Maintain quality standards that meet and/or exceed expectationsDetail Oriented- Ensure work accuracyCustomer Service-Provide a level of service to customer concernsCommunication Skills-Ability to communicate effectively * Must be comfortable utilizing Technology (i.e. smartphones and handheld devices) * Must be able to lift and carry individual cases of product, shelving, or displays of up to 60 pounds * Must be willing and able to work in cold environmental conditions (i.e. refrigerated and freezer sections of retail stores) for limited periods of time * Must be able to operate or learn how to operate a computer, calculator, fax machine, telephone, paper cutter, copier, hammer, screwdriver, drill, case cutter, hand truck, and pallet jack.
