As a merchandiser, you'll take on project-based work to ensure products and displays are visually appealing to attract and engage shoppers, build strong relationships with store managers, ensure the right amount of goods are available at the right price. During unprecedented times, that's crucial! Our corporate office has planted roots in Tampa, FL, but we hire merchandisers all over the nation.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out the needs of the company while supporting all Apollo policies and procedures

  • Build strong relationships with co-workers and store managers

  • Accurate and on-time project completion

  • Thorough and timely reporting

  • Maintain a good attendance record

  • Keep safety standards per OSHA required guidelines and report accidents immediately

Requirements

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required

  • Eighteen years of age or older

  • Minimum of two years' retail industry experience, including merchandising and/or fixture installation preferred, or have an eagerness to show up, learn, and follow directions

  • Cosmetic and/or Grocery merchandising experience a plus

  • Strong interpersonal including written and oral communication and customer support skills

  • Working knowledge of plan-o-grams and/or floorplans with some knowledge of blueprints; able to cross reference multiple documents

  • Strong knowledge of fixture sets including, racking, shelves and light assembly

  • Ability to stand, kneel for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Position Summary: As a Merchandiser, you would be responsible for providing each customer, whether they are a novice or a seasoned rider, with a great customer experience. Additional responsibilities include managing the backroom operations, keeping the sales floor organized and will stocked, help process weekly pallets, and monitoring shipping and receiving. Your responsibilities will include, not be limited to : * Achieving daily objectives by creating a clean and organized sales floor; ensuring that products are properly displayed and in stock. * Completing follow-up with special orders and RTVs; confirming distribution center receipt and delivery of the products. * Partnering with the management team and the Store Support Center regarding inventory levels, product signage and other POP collateral. * Providing the outstanding shopping experience and delivering exceptional customer service. * Educating customers about the world of "Good, Better, and Best" product line that Cycle Gear has to offer. * Staying up-to-date with our brand and product knowledge, company information, sales and company-wide events. Some ideal qualities you possess: * 2 year + of providing top-notch customer service. * Excellent planning and organizing skills; detail-oriented. * Effective communication skills. * A friendly and upbeat personality. * A self-starter that consistently delivering an outstanding, personalized retail experience. * Eagerness to learn and be a part of the riding community. * Proficiency with computers (MS Excel) and POS systems (RetailPro experience is A+). * Knowledge of the motorcycle industry and retail experience is preferred.
