Position Purpose:

Responsible for the efficient execution of merchandising items to ensure with consistency in product sets and signage displays across a group of stores. Accountable for a reduction in time spent on merchandising processes due to an increased familiarity of sets.

  • Move merchandise up to 50 pounds

Supervisory Responsibility: None

Work Environment:

The nature of the job requires daily travel to various stores, with overnight stay possible for remote locations. Duties may include bending, stooping, lifting (50 lbs), standing, walking and fixture building. Associate may be expected to occasionally use a hand-held tool such as a hammer or rubber mallet to perform a task.


A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required.

Previous Experience:

A minimum of one year of field retail experience is required.

The Director, Cloud/DataOps will operate as a member of the [The Edge] technology leadership team reporting to the Chief Technology Officer. The Director, Cloud/DataOps contributes to team and enterprise goals as a people leader responsible for driving results, shaping culture, growing cloud and data engineering talent, and operating beyond organizational and enterprise boundaries to rapidly acquire/curate data and deploy solutions. The Director, Cloud/DataOps leads the management plane design and implementation of cloud-based solutions. To successfully execute the role of Director, Cloud/DataOps requires an in-depth understanding of public cloud technologies, agile/DevOps practices and the ability to build collaborative relationships with other teams within [The Edge] (engineering, product, architecture, operations, service management, infosec) and across the broader enterprise (enterprise architecture, infrastructure, enterprise information protection). Responsibilities The Director, Cloud/DataOps will recruit and lead a dynamic team of cloud and data engineers building, from the ground up, automation and CI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment delivery and data flow management. The Director, Cloud/DataOps will be responsible for leading the optimization and continuous delivery of software, analytics and data solutions. The Cloud/DataOps team will build modern cloud automation solutions to speed up the end-to-end cycle time of data analytics, rapidly moving analytics solutions from ideation to achieving business value. Decisions are typically related to intradepartmental coordination, development and implementation of strategic plans, and business outcomes, and ensuring that solutions are built to scale and are extensible to adapt to a dynamic business environment. Key activities for Data Engineering/Ops function: * Build and maintain data structures and databases * Design and build cloud-based data processing systems * Analyze data and enable machine learning, advanced analytics, and AI * Model business processes for analysis and optimization * Design for reliability, security and compliance * Implement tools to visualize data and manage data policy Key activities for Cloud Engineering/Ops function: * Design and plan implementation of cloud solutions * Manage and provision the cloud solution infrastructure * Design for security and compliance * Analyze and optimize technical and business processes * Ensure solutions and operations are reliabe, scalable and elastic Required Qualifications: * A passion for simplifying and automating workflows, for making complex things easy and efficient, constantly finding new uses for data and turning data into usable information, insights and actions. * Technology professional with 10+ years of engineering and/or infrastructure management experience, with at least five years of cloud platform experience. * Deep understanding of cloud computing and how SaaS, PaaS and IaaS solutions can accelerate innovation and delivery, while generating cost efficiencies. * Undergraduate degree in STEM related discipline (e.g. science, technology, engineering, mathematics). * Strong technology acumen, relentless technical curiosity, and a "why not" attitude. * Experience working and/or managing within an environment with a "startup" culture using agile, lean, DevOps, and DataOps delivery practices and methodologies. Role Essentials: * Digital leadership skills – capable of empowering and leading engineering teams to meet dynamic business needs; leveraging modern technologies to create solutions that are that are simple and engaging to consumers. * In-depth knowledge of public cloud computing architectures and services.
