Merchandise Coordinator

LOCATION: Eden Prairie, MN

DEPARTMENT: General Merchandising or RTW Merchandising

REPORTS TO: Buyer

SUPERVISES: N/A

OVERVIEW

Performs general administrative tasks supporting vendor and product selection, pricing and promotion, and Oracle product setup. This position requires close communication and engagement with vendors, photography, E-commerce, and TV merchant teams. Strong project management emphasis.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Execute item set up, data entry and management of product detail for organizational use.

• Product sample ownership, order, timely delivery, and expertise of product attributes.

• Serve as a resource for the coordination, execution, and communication of overall product information and detail for: Merchandising, Customer Solutions, Broadcast, Planning, Marketing, and Legal.

• Communication and execution of product level information with vendors.

• General administrative tasks for category and team.

• Support inventory purchase order process through data entry, maintenance, and tracking.

• Communication and partnership with internal teams.

• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Bachelor's Degree in Merchandising or equivalent experience required.

• 1+ years of experience in retail required.

• Previous experience in a merchandising department preferred.

• Ability to work as part of a team.

• Positive attitude and ability to demonstrate flexibility.

• Organized and detail oriented.

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Strong retail background and recognition of product features and benefits
