GameStop (GME) is seeking a Merchandising Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role you will execute strategies that support a best-in-class shopping experience for GameStop customers. The ideal candidate for this role will have a customer-first attitude, work well in a fast-paced team setting, have ability to work with data, and works well independently.
This position is based in Grapevine, TX.
Responsibilities:
Vendor Management
Vendor Onboarding with PIM
Assisting Vendor Care team when needed in setting up PIM users.
Communicating to vendors with PIM changes that effect item creation
Collaborating with vendors for additional data points when needed
Ensure Vendor set up flow is maintained and communicate with Accounting/Merchants for initialization before engaging sku ingestion
Product Information Management (PIM) administration
Maintain PIM procedures and generate error reporting for clean up
Review and update best practices and documentation to reflect current standards
Set up List of Values (LOVs) with accuracy to detail following SOP
Work multiple teams to determine best practices
Work with Data Models for attribute local, type and communicate edits with IT partners for version control
Catalog Management
Updating procedures with SKU changes to better identify product lifecycle flow.
Utilizing defect reporting to work with merchant team and bulk update data points for products
Execute identified changes and improvements to both the internal product catalog and the product content that appears on site and stores
Update operational catalog attributes including weight, dimensions, lithium batteries, etc.
E-commerce Catalog Support
Update/maintain GTIN/UPC as identified to ensure best use of marketing $ spend for Google Feeds
Support site merchandising quality assurance, confirming accuracy of product placements on site, and including promotional and seasonal product pricing.
Flipping product SKUs to an active onsite experience once inventory is received
Flipping product SKUs to an inactive onsite experience once last available (for discontinued products) inventory is sold
Basic Qualifications:
1-3 years' experience working with customers, clients, and or vendors
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Moderate-to-strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Data entry skills, with the flexibility to work across multiple systems daily
A relentless focus on quality and meticulous attention to detail
Effective time management
Ability to follow process flows and suggest improvements
Familiarity with product catalog software and relational databases
Preferred Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required
Experience in Retail, eCommerce, Customer Service, or Operations support
Basic-to-intermediate SQL skills
