Mental Health Worker - Evening & Overnight Shifts

Responsibilities

HRI Hospital is seeking Full Time and Part Time Mental Health Workers!

As a Mental Health Worker, you will:

• Monitor patient safety on the inpatient psychiatric units

• Assist nursing staff with patient treatment procedures

• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment

• Assist patients with activities of daily living

• Provide routine patient care as required in a psychiatric environment

• Document and communicate unusual or erratic changes in client behaviors

• Assist with patient groups and activities

Shifts:

Day Shift: 7:00am

• 3:30pm

Evening Shift: 3:00pm

• 11:30pm

Night Shift: 11:00pm

• 7:30am

Shift Differentials:

Evening Shift: +$1.25/Hour

Night Shift: +$2.00/Hour

Weekend Shift: +$1.50/Hour

• Note: The weekend shift differential is cumulative; Example - a weekend evening shift would equate to a +$2.75 cumulative differential)

HRI Hospital is 64-bed psychiatric facility with adult inpatient services and several partial hospitalization programs. Qualifications

Requirements

• High School diploma; Bachelor's Degree in human services field preferred

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Physical Fitness

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

• Must be comfortable working with patient in acute psychiatric distress
