San Jose: South San Jose Center (in-person position)

Working Hours/Shift:

Monday-Friday, Day Shift - flexible hours

What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):

• Master's Degree in a mental health field.

• One (1) year of experience in a mental health field OR completion of a social work, marriage family therapy or professional clinical counselor practicum program within an SBHG agency. Experience should be with children or adolescents in residential or outpatient settings preferred.

• Two (2) years of experience in a behavioral health field; Children or adolescent in residential or outpatient setting preferred.

• Registered with the Board of Behavioral Science (BBS) as AMFT, APCC, ASW OR LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW license in California.

• Valid California Driver's License.

How you will make a difference (job overview):

This position has primary responsibility for providing mental health services and case management services to children or adolescents and their families referred to Community Services. Services may include engagement, assessment, evaluation, individual/family/group therapy, and case management. The position acts as liaison with external agencies and functions on teams with other clinical and support staff. In addition, the position documents and bills for mental health and case management services and completes outcomes information. Starlight Community Services is a union environment

• Telehealth, community, clinic and home - based services

• Variety of metal health issues addressed

• Provides services to clients throughout Santa Clara County
