Summary:Oklahoma City Indian Clinic (OKCIC) is a non profit corporation that provides culturally sensitive health care to the American Indian population. OKCIC services not only include basic medical care, but also dental, optometry, behavioral health services, fitness, nutrition and other family programs. Oklahoma City Indian Clinic is hiring for a Licensed Therapist to join our Behavioral Health team.
Duties:Job duties include, but are not limited to: Conducts biopsychosocial assessments with diagnosis. Provides appropriate and competent individual, family, and group therapy for patients. Consults with direct supervisor and other providers regarding assessment, treatment and case management services. Completes appropriate referrals and applications for patients in need of mental health and substance abuse services. Charts clinical data for diagnosis, treatment, referral, accountability in a timely manner. May serve a role for specific grants that include grant duties. Conducts surveys and assessments necessary for proposed and/or maintaining grant funding. Participates in peer review for accountability and quality improvement. Provides educational presentations on behavioral health topics, as schedule permits. Meets the average patient access number of 5 patients per day.
Qualifications:Due to the safety sensitive nature of this position, medical marijuana license holders who test positive for marijuana will not be qualified for this position. Must align with OKCIC vision, mission and core values Masters Degree in Behavioral Health (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or related behavioral health field) 1 year directly related field experience Must hold an unencumbered License to practice in Oklahoma or license eligible/under supervision (LPC, LADC, LMFT, LCSW, or LBHP)
