The Intake Team of the Adult Outpatient Mental Health Department, provides OPMH Intake services to adults ages eighteen throughout the lifespan. Primarily completing Biopsychosocial Intakes, at minimum three days per week, the clinician is responsible for completing comprehensive assessments within the Open Access Intake process, collecting foundational background information, generating an initial diagnosis, and making treatment recommendations for clients seeking mental health services.
The balance of the week will be dedicated to Individual Therapy services, and carrying a small caseload. The clinician is responsible for following regulatory requirements for documentation, and for providing comprehensive, quality, cost effective behavioral health services. As a team player, the clinician will collaborate with Psychiatrists, Blended Case Management Team members, and other applicable clinical team members.
Knowledge and training of Evidence Based Practices and providing Trauma Informed Care are a necessity. Education and Training: Master#s degree in Social Work or related Behavioral Health Field required Experience and Knowledge: Minimum of one year in Mental Health field required Maintains licensure requirements Registration, Licensure and/or Certification: *Valid Drivers License *CPR Preferred Mandated and Permissive Reporter Training required#
