The Meadows is a 119 bed inpatient behavioral health hospital located in Centre Hall, PA, just outside State College, PA. The Meadows provides comprehensive services to children; adolescents, adults and older adults. We are seeking full-time Mental Health Technicians (MHT) to join our Evening Shift team. Responsibilities include:
Positive role modeling; Group activity facilitation; Safety rounds; Crisis intervention; Patient safety care; documentation and filing related to patient records as required; and interacting with patients to support a qualify level of patient care and treatment.
MHTs are considered part of the nursing department team and will work under the direction of the RN charge nurse each shift and report to a Unit Nurse Manager. Classroom and on the job orientation and training are provided to new team members.
Evening Shift is 3pm to 11:30pm with 1/2 hour meal break. All MHT staff will be scheduled to work every other weekend as well be scheduled to work holidays on a rotational basis.
