Schedule: Part-time Wage: $21.00 per hour What You Get to Do:

Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance. Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve. Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, personal hygiene and more.

Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation. Build relationships with persons served and teammates. Attend special community occasions and fun activities like outdoor walks, games, and social events.

Transport persons served to appointments or other activities outside the home. Empower people with disabilities to live life to the fullest. Document progress, milestones, and action steps.

Embrace the opportunity to positively change someone's life Join our team as a Direct Support Professional / Caregiver at Dungarvin A Mental Health Specialist I will work in highly specialized programs serving individuals with intensive, interfering behavioral and mental health needs. The persons receiving these services have many of the following characteristics: high incidents of crisis situations, high behaviors or anti-social issues, multiple hospitalizations/commitments/institutional stays, and multiple failed placements. Dungarvin group homes have been modified to eliminate safety concerns.

Must be able to demonstrate de-escalation techniques, conflict resolution, positive support methods, and person-centered approach with person served who may present significant mental health symptoms, physical and verbal aggression, property destruction, chemical dependence, brain injury, and cognitive impairments. Must be at least 18 years old, 21 years old for some sites Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Current auto liability insurance Reliable transportation Information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
