This position is located at the Lexington County Community Mental Health Center Batesburg-Leesville Clinic located at:

Job Responsibilities:
Under general supervision of the Director, oversee the daily operations and services for the Batesburg-Leesville Clinic.
Oversees the administrative operations of the clinic.
Provides clinical oversight of services ensuring patients are seen in accordance with their needs and the delivery of best and ethical practices.
Ensures efficiency in clinic operations to maximize services available for patients. Supports clinical staff in meeting their patient care hours expectations.
Provides direct services for patients and maintains a small caseload.
Ensures services are documented in accordance with SCDMH/QA requirements.
Provides direct supervision to include but not limited to: facilitating clinical supervision meetings, treatment team meetings, coordinating training for team and completing evaluations.
Ensures a department commitment to cultural affairs and ensures all direct reports have a cultural affairs component to his or her planning document as a measurable objective.
Complies with Corporate Compliance Policy and Risk Management Plan and ensures timely completion of prior authorizations.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with school district staff. Provides community outreach and participates in anti-stigma events.
Pursues professional development through collegial consultation, continuing education and licensure.
Performs other duties as needed.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
State Requirements:
A master's degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field and professional experience in a mental health, human service or social service program.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
Supervisory experience and minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience.
Professional licensure through SC LLR
Practical therapeutic knowledge of principles, methods and counseling practices and procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of serious and persistent mental illness.
Ability to listen and understand and communicate information and ideas so that others will understand.
Knowledge of psychopathology, family dynamics, family and group psychotherapy.
Ability to identify and effectively utilize resources available in the community to accomplish objectives.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals, families,
and representatives of other professional disciplines.
Ability to present clear and comprehensive oral and written reports.
Ability to organize and manage time.
A high degree of independence, self-motivation will be expected.
Position will receive supervision from assigned supervisor.
Employee's activities are governed by SCDMH and Center policies and procedures.
Ability to lift 5lbs and operate a state vehicle.
Position is considered essential and may be called back during crises/disasters/emergencies.
Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.
