Fraser is seeking a Mental Health Professional (LICSW, LMFT or LPCC) to support our ABA program with diagnostic assessments, behavior consultations, treatment planning, and outpatient skills training!

Responsibilities include:

Participation in team diagnostic assessment, behavior consultations, treatment planning, and family therapy
Outpatient skills for clients with behavioral, emotional, and developmental concerns with an emphasis on Autism Spectrum Disorders utilizing principles of behavior analysis
Collaboration with Clinical Program Managers and other Behavior Professionals to promote teamwork and communication
Support with supervision and training for interns and other non-licensed staff

Requirements:

Current licensure from the State of Minnesota LICSW, LMFT, LP, or LPCC or obtaining independent licensure within the next 2 months

Experience working with children clinically preferred
Valid Minnesota Driver's License with acceptable record required for travel to different Fraser locations for training and meetings

Computer proficiency using Word and Excel with proficiency in keyboarding skills required; Fraser utilizes collaborative documentation

RESPONSIBILITIES * Provides patient care to inpatients or patients in the psychiatric emergency department of HCMC under supervision of nursing staff; therapeutic 1:1, evaluates, intervenes, and reports to and works with nursing staff and/or mental health professional to follow individualized patient care plans. * Participates in planning and implementing treatment team recommendations concerning individual and group patient programming; * Follows the problem-oriented method for patient charting or reporting on behaviors observed; promotes and maintains a healthy and safe treatment setting. * Provides patient care with ADL's; * Maintains an organized and clean milieu; * Provides milieu support to patients and nursing staff. May provide patient care activities and clerical activities. * Facilitates non psychotherapy activities including but not limited to individual and group psychoeducation * Crisis management and referral for basic needs and medical care, ongoing mental health services and other issues as they arise * As needed, evaluate effectiveness of group mental health programming and develop programming to meet client needs and meet state requirement for best practices * Provide supportive and follow-up education measures to clients and families about the nature of the illness/condition and recommended treatments * Coordinate client care * Developing relationship with client and encouraging participation in treatment * Coordinating care with other providers * Discharge planning and coordination * Meeting with clients individually, as needed * Serve as team representative * Oversee and mentor behavioral health students * Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education/ Work Experience: * Meet the criteria for a "Mental Health Practitioner" by the MN Department of Human Services. (See Appendix A) * Mental health practitioners providing services for the treatment of mental illness, who are not eligible for enrollment, must be under clinical supervision of a mental health professional and must be qualified in at least one of the following five ways: * Holds a bachelor's degree in a behavioral science or a related field, from an accredited college or university and meets either a or b: * Has at least 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of mental health services to recipients with mental illness * Is fluent in a non-English language of a cultural group to which at least 50% of the practitioner's recipients belong, completes 40 hours of training in the delivery of services to recipients with mental illness, and receives clinical supervision from a mental health professional at least once a week until the requirements of 2,000 hours of supervised experience are met * Has at least 6,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of mental health services to recipients with mental illness. VIEW JOBS SUMMARY: We are currently seeking a Mental Health Professional - Licensed - to join our Positive Care Clinic team. This full time role will work days. This role will provide psychotherapy with about 20-30% of the position doing social work activities, supporting patients that are not currently case managed. This role is currently partially grant funded through February 29, 2024.
