Mental Health - Direct Support Professional - Community Based

Keystone Mental Health Services is currently seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team in making a positive difference in the lives of our neighbors and the community.

The Work:

• Direct support position that provides quality supports to adults with mental illness in a community-based setting.

• Provides personal care and mentors individuals following their treatment and support plans.

• Assists with cooking, cleaning and other household responsibilities.

• Plans meaningful recreational activities and takes individuals into the community and to appointments as needed.

• Completes daily documentation and meets productivity standards as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to learn and apply proficient computer skills, including the use of software and other web based systems

• Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to read, interpret and apply policies and regulations

• Valid driver's license and have daily access to a properly insured vehicle

• Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including motor vehicle record and criminal background checks
