Summary of Job Description:
Responsible for providing mental health counseling services to students and campus wellness programming, consulting with other college faculty/ staff as needed on mental health needs of student population.
Provided direct clinical services including individual and counseling, as well as mental health assessment and crisis intervention to Mercy College students.
Collaborate with other Counseling & Wellness Services staff to provide outreach consultations and programming to students, faculty, and staff
Maintain confidential clinical records for all interactions with students in electronic health record system in accordance with state and federal laws and standards of professional ethics.

Masters
Field of Study
Counseling or Social Work
Ohio Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC); Ohio Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC); Ohio Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)
Licensure/Certification Preferred:
Ohio Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC); Ohio Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)
Work Experience:
Minimum Years and Type of Experience Required:
1-3 years experience in counseling adults.
Minimum Years and Type of Experience Preferred:
3-5 years of experience in counseling. Experience with programming regarding issues such as suicide, alcohol/drug use, sexual assault, well-being and social injustices.
