If you have a passion for empowering some of Iowa's most vulnerable kids, Lutheran Services in Iowa is looking for you. LSI's (Beloit) Residential Treatment Center in (Ames) is looking for a full-time Mental Health Counselor. Many of the children we serve have experienced trauma or adverse experiences. It's our job and our privilege to empower them toward success.
The Mental Health Counselor is responsible for:
Providing professional, quality counseling psychosocial assessment and case management services for our children on campus and their families
Authoring case records and progress notes
Providing services with the understanding that some may occur outside of normal business hours
Maintain age-appropriate behavioral management and treatment planning through consultations with program supervisors, specialists, associates, and other residential staff

Applicants must have a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related human services field from an accredited school.
