Requirements for Applying

Education/Experience:Graduation from an accredited graduate program with the receipt of a Master's Degree in Counseling/Psychology or Social Work is required; two years of experience in a mental health setting under clinical supervision as required to qualify for the State recognized license; licensed as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) in the state of California.Clearances: Required Fingerprinting/Department of Justice and Tuberculosis clearance.

Under supervision of the Director of the Director of Human Resources, the Program Specialist, and the site administrator, performs duties of a school mental health clinician working with individual students and small groups with parent approval. Provides documentation of individual therapy goals and progress as needed and directed. Provides clinical counseling and case management services. Provides clinical assessments, case management and counseling services to individual and groups of students in the Emotionally Disturbed Special Day Classes.
