The Mental Health Worker serves as a member of the nursing team under the direct supervision of a registered nurse providing direct and indirect care. The Mental Health Worker is responsible for collecting and reporting of information to the supervising RN or Charge Nurse and completion of all patient care related tasks and documentation. Additional responsibilities include ADL's, vital signs, patient observations/rounding and to observe safety risks throughout the unit.

Required qualifications:
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Crisis Prevention Certification, or completed within first week of orientation upon hire
6 months of Experience providing direct patient care as either a MHW, PCT, CNA or LPT in a behavioral health or chemical dependency inpatient, residential or outpatient program/unit.
