OhioMHAS operates regional psychiatric hospitals in six locations across the state that operate 365/24/7. Our specialized facilities provide short-term, intensive treatment to patients in both inpatient and community-supported environments. We also deliver comprehensive care to patients committed through the criminal justice system.

8:00 am - 4:30 pm M-F (Unusual or Rotating Shift; Flex as needed to meet operational needs)

What You'll Do:

Under general direction in assigned facility, plans, implements and evaluates specialized program services for patients/consumers (i.e., Recovery & Rights Program) to ensure people being served are active partners in the decision making process, resulting in the highest quality of care & life: ensures all recovery, rights, complaints, grievances & mediation procedures are followed for patients being served, their families & other interested parties (e.g., case managers, attorneys, guardians); receives & investigates inquiries, complaints & grievances from concerned others (e.g., persons being served, families) & suggests resolutions (e.g., by consultation with or referral to other staff, department heads or administrative/clinical directors); reviews/responds to pertinent documentation; contacts & obtains external legal & other expert assistance as needed or requested by clients; files & facilitates grievances; submits resolutions to Recovery & Rights Program Administrator; OhioMHAS Consumer Advocacy & Protection Specialist.
