Memory Care Manager

Balfour Senior Living in Littleton, Colorado is hiring an experienced Memory Care Manager. You will have an opportunity to utilize your prior experience and creativity to bring forth innovative ideas, utilizing cutting-edge modalities to provide a stimulating yet comforting environment and ensuring our residents thrive in their environment. You will partner closely with both management and staff to ensure effective day-to-day operations, excellent customer service, and quality care initiatives are met consistently. The Memory Care Manager will serve as an ongoing resource, leading in problem-solving and providing guidance to memory care unit team members. Qualifications: A degree in a related field such as Psychology or Behavioral Science or Social Work and or significant experience in a related field preferred. Previous experience in a management or leadership position. Experience working with individuals with Alzheimer's or other related dementia preferred while in a leadership capacity. Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people, particularly the elderly, their family members and those with memory impairment. At least three years of experience working with individuals with Alzheimer's or related memory impairment or dementia preferred. Ability to collaborate with other departments and management to continuously improve quality and overall experience of our customers. Ability to clearly communicate in verbal and written form. Ability to work on weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed is essential.
