Memory Care Lead

Under limited supervision, the Memory Care Lead coordinates the memory support program to ensure that the physical, social & emotional needs of the residents and their families are met. As a representative and team member of the company, this position is expected to present oneself in a manner that reflects professionalism and ensures resident satisfaction.

Pay Range: $47,000-$55,000 depending on experience

Duties include:

• Supervises Team Members in the Memory Support unit

• Keeps the HumanGood Memory Support Program Philosophy and implementations activities and care to meet the specific needs of residents;

• Leads by example and collaborates with Community Life Coordinator to ensure team members engage residents in programs

• Collaborates with Clinical partners to coordinate resident moves and transfers within the Memory Support;

• Provides orientation for new residents and family members;

• Conduct and promote support and/ or educational groups for residents/ families;

• Communicates with resident family members in a respectful and caring manner and provides information regarding residents' daily life as appropriate; uses tactful, diplomatic communication techniques in potentially sensitive or emotionally charged situations;

• Coordinates with Director of Wellness and Assisted Living to ensure positive resident care

To be successful in the role, you would have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent;

• Must have at least 3 to 5 years prior related experience with people living with dementia and at least 1 year of supervision experience.

• Prefer 2+ years' experience in assisted living management.
