The membership services specialist is accountable for day-to-day operational activities to support the McKesson Specialty Health GPO business. The individual is responsible for customer enrollment/onboarding, roster maintenance/updates, and contract audits to ensure members can access negotiated contracts and services through McKesson Specialty Health. The individual will work across multiple stakeholder groups (internal and external) to standardize core membership services processes and tools. The position will report to the Senior Manager, GPO Membership Services.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and Maintain Manufacturer Rosters

  • Regularly review / cleanse Onmark (esp., Perform, State Society and Oral accounts) and Unity GPO rosters

  • Maintain customer information by updating addresses, contact names, license status, etc., on an on-going basis

  • Standardize how and where rosters are maintained

  • Ensure manufacturers are notified of add/edits/deletes in a timely manner; meet established internal SLAs and criteria

  • Be the subject matter expert / voice of the customer internally and with pharmaceutical partners

Proactively Conduct Contract Audits & Minimize Leakage

  • Focus on High Priority Accounts (e.g., Perform, State Societies, New Accounts, Orals, CSA)

  • Focus on Top Manufacturer Drug Programs (e.g., Alimta, Aranesp, Neulasta, Procrit, etc.)

  • Work with internal (contract admin, master data, GPO account executives, field sales) and external stakeholders to resolve off contract issues in a timely manner

  • Follow-up / close the loop on transaction level off-contract purchases

Support New Contract Launches / Amendments

  • Work with GPO Account Executives to understand new contract pipeline

  • Identify specific membership services requirements / changes

  • Review launch checklist and ensure membership services activities are completed in a timely and accurate manner

  • Review /audit new contracts post launch (Day 1) to ensure customers are loaded as expected

Oversee GPO On-boarding & Enrollment of New Members

  • Process and track member applications, declaration letters and other forms for new and existing members in a timely manner \
  • Add and remove customer information related to GPO membership within the SAP environment to ensure accurate customer status and overall GPO membership base.

Reporting and Continuous Improvement

  • Provide regular membership / manufacturer reports on weekly basis

  • Help develop and implement membership services SOPs, processes, and metrics

  • Collaborate with six sigma team to help identify and address operational gaps (systems, people, processes)

  • Collaborate with pharmaceutical manufacturers on issues resolution and areas of improvement.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

Education/Training

  • 4-year undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

  • Advanced Excel skills including experience writing formulas using functions.

Experience/Requirements

  • Possess a self-directed work style requiring minimal supervision.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task in the management of multiple deadlines and deliverables.

  • Ability to work with other departments to ensure high quality and accuracy standards.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver complete, timely and accurate reports.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, team oriented, and collaborative.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Customer first focused.

  • Results and detail oriented.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills

  • Familiarity with Tableau a plus.

  • Familiarity of databases and CRM systems (SAP and Sales Force).

  • Familiarity with Group Purchasing Organizations.

  • Understanding of the oncology and multi-specialty marketplace is a plus.

  • Desire to learn and willingness to proactively take the initiative to resolve issues.

Working Conditions:

They are to work closely with their Sales Consultant and Sales Managers to generate quality leads for and drive awareness of the programs in store. The HS Project Specialist will also attend store events, home shows, and other lead events when scheduled. This is a part-time entry position requiring an outgoing personality to build strong relationships and excellent customer service skills, and the first step to a career path in sales, retail and or marketing with Home Depot. MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 75%-Meets or exceeds established productivity goals by generating quality leads for each Home Services install program assigned. Approaches customers within the store, introducing them to Home Services programs, and pre-qualifying the customer and scheduling a free in home consultation. Provides accurate product information to the customer. 10%-Work with Home Depot store associates and management to maintain a positive working relationship. 5%-Set-up and break down a store display in locations that allow it and help maintain the selling center with needed brochures and materials.
