Life Time is currently seeking a qualified Member Services Supervisor. As a Member Services Supervisor, you will assist with the overall direction, coordination and supervision of the Member Services department.

Deliver the highest quality customer service to all members and guests through professional greetings, account maintenance, and extensive knowledge of all Life Time Fitness products and services. Assist with ensuring team members proactively meet the needs of members and accurately answer questions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service and quickly and efficiently respond to member questions, comments, and concerns

  • Ensure team members greet and service members in a friendly and professional manner

  • Assist with supervising and assessing team members providing constructive feedback and helping them develop excellent customer service and promotional skills

  • Assist the Department Head in maintaining daily and monthly department budget

  • Balance cash drawer, reconcile membership accounts, and make necessary corrections and voids

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Minimum of one year customer service experience

  • Minimum of one year experience working at the Life Time front desk

  • Basic POS (point of sale) transaction experience

  • Experience working in retail or hospitality preferred

The position assists members with account maintenance and articulates an extensive knowledge of Life Time products and services. The position holder must anticipate member needs and interests and recommends programs, products and services appropriately. The Specialist helps maximize member retention by connecting each member to the right people, places and programs. Job Duties and Responsibilities * Greets and services members at the Activity Center in a friendly and professional manner while developing positive relationships, responding to member needs, and recommending programs, products and services appropriately. * Processes member paperwork, enters sales transactions at POS, including program, service and product payments and monthly dues. * Contacts members via phone, email and in-club conversations, building relationships and engaging members within their areas of interest * Attends daily huddle and assist with the creation of the daily huddle prep sheet to increase the club Member connectivity * Functions as a player on the Certified Retention Team and completes membership changes as needed Position Requirements * High School Graduate or Equivalent * 6+ months of experience in a customer service related position Preferred Requirements * Extensive knowledge of all club activities and promotions * Ability to build relationships with members * Ability to resolve conflict in a professional and tactful manner Life Time Fitness Westwood MA
