Position Summary

The Member Services Specialist delivers the highest quality customer service by listening and responding to all members. The position assists members with account maintenance and articulates an extensive knowledge of Life Time products and services. The position holder must anticipate member needs and interests and recommends programs, products and services appropriately. The Specialist helps maximize member retention by connecting each member to the right people, places and programs.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greets and services members at the Activity Center in a friendly and professional manner while developing positive relationships, responding to member needs, and recommending programs, products and services appropriately.

  • Processes member paperwork, enters sales transactions at POS, including program, service and product payments and monthly dues.

  • Contacts members via phone, email and in-club conversations, building relationships and engaging members within their areas of interest

  • Attends daily huddle and assist with the creation of the daily huddle prep sheet to increase the club Member connectivity

  • Functions as a player on the Certified Retention Team and completes membership changes as needed

Position Requirements

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • 6+ months of experience in a customer service related position

Preferred Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of all club activities and promotions

  • Ability to build relationships with members

  • Ability to resolve conflict in a professional and tactful manner

The Analytical Services Technician will have responsibilities for performing routine assays within the Analytical Science and Technology (AST) laboratories of the Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) group * Prepare Reagents/Buffers per department Site Operating Procedures (SOP's) * Perform assay such as A280, Activity, HPLC, and Gel electrophoresis. * Support Tecan Liquid classes development (weight measurements on balance) * Daily instrument maintenance (i.e. empty and refill system liquid (DI water) for Tecans, cleaning) * Sample/Control aliquots support (dispensing aliquots, labeling, capping, etc.) * Management of samples for analytical testing (inventory, coordinate sample submission/disposal) * Benchtop cleaning, organization of pipettes, supplies and consumables. * Shipping and receiving perishable samples * Glassware cleaning and organization. * Maintain and order analytical lab supplies as needed. * Keep track of non-regulated instrument PM schedules and serve as a business POC for maintenance and repair issues. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree OR Associate's degree and 4 years of scientific experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of scientific or operations experience Preferred Qualifications Experience with laboratory techniques for protein assays such as HPLC, electrophoresis or spectrophotometric based methods. Basic knowledge of cGMP requirements. Demonstrated ability to work in a team/matrix environment, to collaborate and coordinate with internal and external department staff as various levels, and to handle multiple responsibilities, tasks and projects simultaneously.
