Position Summary

Delivers the highest quality customer service to all members and guests through professional greetings, account maintenance, and extensive knowledge of Life Time products and services. Proactively meets the needs of members and accurately answer questions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greets and admits members and guests into the club by scanning their membership cards and responding to messages regarding their membership account

  • Enters sales transactions for members, including program, service, and payments

  • Processes member paperwork, including address changes, and electronic funds transfers

  • Answers club phone to assist with member and guest inquiries

Position Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 6+ months of customer service experience

  • Ability to stand for minimum for 4 hours at a time

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to proficiently use a computer

Preferred Requirements

  • 6+ months of receptionist experience

Medtronic is currently seeking an Associate Patient Services Specialist. The Associate Patient Service Specialist provides information and product support for technical and non-technical aspects of all Medtronic Neuromodulation products. The specialist provides this comprehensive information to patients and their families, Medtronic field employees, other cross-functional business partners and occasionally healthcare professionals via telephone and written communications. The associate patient specialist is responsible for receiving, documenting/reporting customer contacts and complaints for tracking, trending and FDA reporting. The Restorative Therapies Group develops life-restoring therapies and healthcare solutions that span the care continuum; integrating technologies and applying clinical and economic evidence to increase patient access, improve efficiency of procedures and deliver successful patient outcomes. A Day in the Life * Responsible for providing customer support at the times required by the business and defined by the weekly staffing schedule. * Document all customer contacts utilizing the current procedures/work instructions for data collection and reporting. * Deliver responses in a respectful manner consistent with Medtronic brand voice, demonstrating empathy, education and empowerment. * Responsible for understanding and following corporate and functional business unit procedures as well as technical guidance documents. * Must complete all required training on time. * Responsible for escalating any identified gaps in process or product information necessary to respond to customer contacts. * Provide accurate technical and non-technical information to callers as well as cross-functional and international partners within Medtronic. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. * Provides technical/scientific advice to customers, dealers, distributors and sales personnel responding to product related questions, issues and problems. * Provides sales personnel with technical data necessary for the demonstration of products. * May make technical or scientific presentations at sales meetings and customer locations. * Acts as a liaison between sales personnel and technical staff. Must Haves: EDUCATION REQUIRED BA/BS degree in health related, applied sciences, or engineering field Nice to Have – (Preferred Qualifications): * Neurological anatomy and physiology knowledge * Neuromodulation and cross business product knowledge (including spinal cord stimulation system, deep brain stimulation, pelvic health stimulation, targeted drug delivery) * Demonstrated experience in regulated environment * Call Center or Customer Service experience * Medical Device product knowledge * Knowledge of FDA/GMP/MDR device regulations * Advanced verbal and written communication skills * Analytical/problem solving skills/experience * Time management skills * Demonstrated ability to utilize computer and telephone efficiently * Clinic and/or hospital experience About Medtronic Together, we can change healthcare worldwide.
