The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Full Time Teller at our Detroit branch to join our family here at Zeal Credit Union.

If you have the qualifications listed below, this Member Service Specialist - Detroit position might be just right for you:

• At least 6 months of Customer Service Experience

• Passion for helping others-truly enjoys working with, for and around people!

• Enjoys problem solving and taking initiative to deliver a solution to our member(s).

• Excellent Communication Skills

• High Attention to Detail

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous financial institution experience

• Previous sales and cash-handling experience

• Previous loan experience

Essential Functions of the Member Service Representative / Teller:

• New Account Specialist: Open new accounts and service existing accounts. Provide members will all the necessary information for membership.

• Loan Specialist: Obtain and submit member information for loan applications and disburse loan funds.

• Assist members directly with their financial needs, which includes transaction processing, account inquiries, product and service information, remote access, etc.

• Balance teller drawer

• Promote and cross sell Credit Union products and services based on member's needs.

• Balancing and posting of the ATM

• Consistently meet or exceed established sales goals.

Schedule:

Monday: 9:00am-6:15pm Tuesday: 9:00am-5:15pm Wednesday: 9:00am-5:15pm Thursday: 9:00am-5:30pm Friday: 9:00am-6:30pm
