Basic Job Functions:

The Melt Shop Process Engineer will primarily focus on improving the production process using analytical tools, data and teamwork to develop and execute actions and projects.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
Strong Computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in process improvement through analytical analysis.
Sound knowledge of the Melting, Refining, and Casting Process.

Total compensation for this position is expected to be $80,000- $130,000.
