This position is responsible for developing and managing processes and procedures related to meeting and special event management. Operates, perform minor maintenance and source audio visual equipment to enhance all meetings at Supply Chain Operation Center (SCOC). new ideas, perspectives, and options to the team.


  • Develop, communicate and maintain SCOC Event Management Process, including but not limited to CarharttNow.

  • Partner with the business to determine support needed for successful meeting preparation and execution (i.e. room set-up, catering, materials in conference room).

  • Responsible for developing a catering database for all catering orders at the corporate office, including determining approved vendor lists and potential discounts with vendors.

  • Assist management of office-wide events

  • Maintain an Audio Visual (AV) equipment as well as troubleshoot system issues and partner with IS on solutions.

  • Stocks conference room with all necessary materials (i.e. white-board markers, cleaning supplies, etc.).

  • Ensure that UPS and mail is processed daily.

  • Assist in preparation of SCOC events budget.

  • Complete additional administrative duties when called upon, updating of phone listings; ordering business cards and preparing nameplates, etc.

  • Ensure the kitchenettes and guest restrooms are maintained and fully stocked prior to and after meetings or events.

  • Coordinate with (Payroll/Benefit Clerk or Receptionist) on ordering of supplies needed for conference rooms.

  • Act as backup to Receptionist for answering all incoming calls, greeting visitors in a prompt and courteous manner and handling of administrative duties, as assigned.

  • All other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred

  • Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree

Required Skills and Experience

  • High school diploma.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 4 years of administrative or receptionist experience.

  • 2 years of event planning and execution preferred.

  • Strong audio visual technology knowledge preferred.

  • Ability to multi-task.

  • Ability to handle confidential situations professionally.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the proven ability to communicate with all levels including management and retail partners.

  • Outstanding organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and attention to detail.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

The SEA provides administrative support to the Special Events Manager (SEM) and Special Events Consultant (SEC) and ensures each Guest knows their business is important to Dave & Buster's. During high‐volume periods, this position may also provide some sales and marketing support, under the direction of the GM, SEM, and/or SEC. NITTY GRITTY DETAILS: * You provide critical administrative support to the SE office, including faxing, filing, making copies, mailings, and other general administrative work. * You receive and finalize contracts within the sales system and assist with collection of event deposits and payments. * You assist in maintaining event archives. * You take incoming Guest calls as a backup when the SEM and/or SEC are busy, taking down important information and referring the Guest's needs to the SEM or SEC. * You generate PowerCards, drink tickets, and the other items we need to make our events one‐of‐a‐kind. * Like to party? We like to party… You get to show Guests around Dave & Buster's and introduce them to all of the ways we can make their event one to remember! * During high volume periods, you follow up on leads identified by the SEM and SEC. This will include checking availability, responding to online event inquiries (OERs/RFPs), and giving our Guests an overview of the FUN Dave & Buster's has to offer! * You assist in executing local marketing plans, under the direction of the GM, SEM, and SEC. * You go above & beyond to ensure the needs of each Special Events Guest are met, processing paperwork in a timely manner, following up on questions, and working behind‐the‐scenes to make sure the SE team and Operations are set up for success. * And, because we expect you to "Act like you own it" your job includes everything listed above PLUS the ever‐popular "other duties as assigned."
