Position Summary:

Accountable and responsible for all departmental activities, 24/7, to ensure delivery of quality patient care in a safe and therapeutic environment. Provides effective leadership that supports the mission, vision and strategic plan of the organization and I SERVEwith pleasure values. Manages department operations to include staff productivity, resource utilization and expense management to achieve maximum financial performance.

  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; Current TN RN licensure

  • American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS within first 6 months of hire

  • ACLS, PALS, NRP, AWHONN, and STABLE required according to department staff requirements

  • Previous clinical experience in area of responsibility

  • BSN/Master's preferred

The Director of Supply Chain Operations is responsible for the daily operations of all supply chain functions conducted within the hospital facility, serving as the liaison between the Consolidated Service Center and the hospital. The Director integrates the supply chain services with the hospital's primary functions, develops and implements policies and procedures that guide or support services, assesses and improves supply chain performance, and ensures orientation and continuing education of departmental staff. What you will do in this role: * Communicate supply chain financial, clinical, and outcomes information to key stakeholders appropriate for their levels. * Educate key facility stakeholders to develop a culture of supply expense awareness and management * Provide clear financial analysis for appropriate decision-making, with focus on the primary drivers of supply expense and utilization * Serve as the "clinical conscience" for supply related decisions * Drive performance -efficiency, value generation, execution of strategies, etc. * Facilitate the standardization of products and optimize supply utilization through effective collaboration with * Physicians and clinicians * Execute a continuous improvement program for supply chain functions * Actively seek ways to control costs without compromising patient safety, quality of care of the services delivered Qualifications * Bachelor's degree is required (preferably in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain, or healthcare related focus) * Master's degree preferred. * 3 years of hospital management experience is required Healthtrust's parent HCA Healthcare ranks on Fortune's list of Most Admired Companies for three consecutive years and HCA ranks in the Fortune 100.
