The Opportunity:

This Remote Hybrid Pharmacy Technician role works as the Pharmacy Reimbursement Specialist and works with providers for approval on specialty medications, processing prior authorizations, assists patients with finding cost savings and prescription costs assistance. These medications are high cost, high touch, and high risk. This pharm tech position assists patients in getting these medications covered and at a reasonable cost. This role works closely with patients, associations, drug companies, pharmacists, and other clinical staff. This role will work 50% remote and 50% on site.

Pharmacy Technician Experience Is Required.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Pharm Tech looking to take their skills to the next level and further help patients. This will give you an opportunity to help patients find cost effective solutions to medication costs and build professional relationships with various level of professionals in and outside the pharmacy.

Shift Details: This will be a Monday

• Friday

• 50% Remote, 50% Onsite

• No Nights, No Weekends

The Work:

• Under the supervision of a Pharmacist assists clinic staff and patients with coordinating and obtaining outpatient prescriptions.

• Collaborating with necessary parties to provide advanced services such as prescriptions benefit investigation.

• Prior authorization assistance.

• Co-payment assistance billing.

• Appointment or visit scheduling on behalf of clinic.

• Enter prescriptions into the pharmacy dispensing system

• Complete reports inputting computer data

• Deliver completed prescriptions

• Collect co-payment and out of pocket amounts

• Provide all aspects of customer service

To be successful in this position, you need to be solutions focused and driven to help others. You will need to have effective communication skills and self-driven. We are looking for a Pharm Technician who enjoys problem solving and is always looking for ways to improve how to serve our patients.

Cert Pharmacy Tech from PTCB - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board, Pharmacy Technician (MO) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration, Pharmacy Technician
