Medication History Specialist

Under the direction of a licensed pharmacist, the medication history specialist will be charged with gathering home medication information from patients, accurately entering that information into a computer system, and investigating any discrepancies identified.# The employee will use all availabe resources (local pharmacies, external databases, primary care physician clinics, etc.) to ensure that medical histories are as complete and accurate as possible.# The medication history specialist must be able to operate in a fast paced environment and adapt positively to changes in workflow. Qualifications:# Must be a certified pharmacy technician and registered with the Board of Pharmacy.# Three years of pharmacy technician experience preferred, two years pharmacy technician experience required.# Familiarity with computers is required. #
