Medication Aide - Skilled Nursing Care

Under the direct supervision of an RN, the Medication Aide performs medication administration and prescriber-ordered treatments.

Required Qualifications:

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.

• Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

• Medication Assistant Certification Endorsement upon hire.

• Successfully pass NCSBN Medication Assistant Certification exam upon hire.

• 1 year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant

Preferred Qualification:

• 1 year experience as a MAC in a health care setting
