The Medicare Broker Sales Manager will be responsible for, direct and oversee all Individual Medicare Broker sales activities including responsibility for performance of that channel in prospecting, sales, servicing, training, and retention and ensure regulatory compliance of all established Medicare and CDPHP policies and procedures. The position will monitor the sales activities to meet established sales goals and membership for all individual Medicare products.

Qualifications:

  • NYS Life, Accident, and Health Insurance license required or secured within 90 days of employment.

  • Two years management/supervisory experience in sales/marketing or health insurance setting required. Sales experience utilizing broker/agents preferred. Experience in Medicare products is strongly preferred

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and coach sales force for success is required.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop market forecast and projections is required.

  • Demonstrated ability to direct individual sales is required.

  • Demonstrated ability to make proactive recommendations regarding new products/marketplace conditions is required.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to develop department policies, procedures and guideline.

  • Strong planning and organizational skills are required.

  • Access to reliable transportation to all CDPHP Medicare service areas during business hours, evenings and possibly weekend is required.

CDPHP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth. Individual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, such as work experience, qualifications, and skills. In addition to cash compensation, CDPHP employees may be eligible for an incentive payment, a discretionary cash reward based on employee and company performance. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
