Max Rate $99,611/year.The University of Vermont Health Network - Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital seeks Medical Technologists (Multiple Openings) to work at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh, NY, and perform routine and highly complex laboratory analyses on clinical specimens.

Duties include, among others: (i) performing routine and complex procedures using established criteria to provide quality clinical information; (ii) verifying analytic accuracy, precision, sensitivity and linearity for clinical tests; (iii) operating, calibrating, checking and maintaining laboratory instrumentation; (iv) recognizing problems with quality control and test procedures and taking appropriate action to ensure quality clinical information; and (v) collecting and processing patient specimens.Must have a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Medical Technology or a directly related field.
