Do you have a desire to use your knowledge to collaborate with physicians and lab directors on patient data? If so, consider joining our team as a Medical Technologist PRN.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Performing routine and specialized moderate and high complexity laboratory tests under minimal supervision

  • Insuring accurate and reliable test results by adhering to a strict quality control program

  • Performing instrument function checks and preventative maintenance according to the department's policies and procedures

  • Maintaining records and statistical data according to regulative requirements

  • Training new employees and students on laboratory policies and procedures

  • Assisting as needed in all laboratory areas as required to maintain appropriate patient care

Key qualifications to be considered for this include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field
  • ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification preferred

Responsibilities Where you Come In The Medical Coding Coordinator 3 researches/reviews and educates providers when there is a dispute on adjudicated claims that contain a code editing related denial or recovery. Analyzes, enters and manipulates database. Responds to or clarifies internal requests for medical information. Decisions are typically focus on methods, tactics and processes for completing administrative tasks/projects. Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes and techniques, and works under limited guidance due to previous experience/breadth and depth of knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge.
