JOB SUMMARY Conducts routine and complex tests for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease, and performs related duties, following established standards and practices.# Assumes responsibility for problem solving, systems control, and instruction. JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Education Bachelor#s Degree or experience required by certification entity. Not required for MTs with Health # Human Services certification given prior to 1987. Minimum Work Experience No previous experience.# Required Licenses/Certifications Completion of formal training program in an approved MT, MLS, or MLT program Registered as a MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP),or MLT (ASCP) or equivalent. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Compile statistics. Input data into computer programs. Maintain logs. Ability to use CRT and diagnostic equipment.
