They collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely test results, contributing to patient care outcomes. Technologists adhere to strict protocols and maintain the highest standards of quality and safety in laboratory operations. Medical Technologists actively participate in quality assurance programs, continuing education, and professional development to stay abreast of advancements in laboratory science and uphold the standards of medical laboratory practice.

Job Requirements: Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field from an accredited program Minimum Work Experience:

No previous experience required Required Licenses/Certifications: Medical Technologist certification (MT/MLS) or equivalent Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Proficiency in performing a wide range of laboratory tests with precision and accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and adherence to established protocols and procedures Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of patient information Knowledge of safety regulations and adherence to infection control measures
