We are looking for experienced Medical Technician/Assistant to join our team in the Manchester or Tullahoma, TN area. In addition to a rewarding work environment, we offer our professionals competitive benefits and salary. This is a full-time position.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to work independently
Ability to demonstrate: organizational skills, efficiency in all task and attention to detail
Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical information.
Ability to effectively present information, both verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to use computer and telephone.
Knowledge of current diagnostic tests, their functions, and normal results.
Has consistently demonstrated service-oriented performance.
Must adhere to the service expectations of CORE, LLC.
DUTIES:
Adheres to all CORE, LLC policies and procedures.
Adheres to departmental Quality Assurance procedures.
Performs Respirator Fit testing.
Performs Pulmonary Function Test
Obtains basic history, and medical information, and take vital signs
Administers intramuscular injections under authorization and supervision of physician in accordance with State of Louisiana law and prevailing CORE, LLC agreements and protocols.
Performs collection of vital signs, Performs visual acuity and color testing.
Performs urine specimen collection following DOT regulations and/or chain of custody requirements.
Performs safe venipuncture
Performs urine dipstick testing.
Performs 12 lead EKGs.
Performs audiometric screening.
Performs other duties as required.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college or medical administration training is preferred.
Current Medical Assistant Certificate with state license preferred.
Current CPR/BLS Certification preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with client and employees.
