You will assemble patient medical forms or documents in sequential and chronological order and according to medical facility policies and procedures.
You will answer routine inquiries and refer medical questions concerning patient's condition, progress, or treatment to a Charge Nurse or Physician through an electronic medical record system.
You will pull and prepare daily medical records for each health care provider to supply medical information at the scheduled appointment.
You will review patient medical records to confirm information is current, correct, and complete.
You will perform data entry, data verification, and updates or edits of patient data in computer systems (e.g., Composite Health Care System [CHCS], Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System [DEERS]) to support operations.
You will review third party registration forms (e.g., Form DD2569 [Third Party Collection Program/Medical Services Account/Other Health Insurance] or other applicable insurance forms) to confirm required information is provided.
