The Medical Staff Services Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Medical Staff Services and is the primary liaison between the hospital and the Credentialing Processing Center on processes related to initial appointment, reappointment and clinical privileging.
CPMSM, CPCS preferred
High School graduate required
College degree preferred
At least 3 years in Medical Staff Services/ Credentialing management, preferred
Experience with facility's accreditation process and standards
Detailed working knowledge of the health care and credentialing industry, including medical-legal issues and laws, regulatory standards as related to credentialing, privileging and peer review, and other national standard
