The Medical Staff Services (MSS) department is looking for a Medical Staff Services (MSS) Communications, Special Projects and Events Coordinator to join their team! They would serve as a liaison between the medical staff and hospital administration and assists the medical staff in fulfilling their responsibilities as required by local, state, federal, and other regulatory agencies. They would also serves as a resource for all members of the medical staff and hospital administration. Personnel in the Medical Staff Services department perform major functions related to the credentialing, privileging, peer review and physician communication.
The MSS Communications, Projects staff, and Events Coordinator is responsible for creating, and executing delivery of the communications program to the medical staff. The coordinator will also work on special projects and events planning in support of the Medical Staff and medical staff committees, this role often works in conjunction with Medical Affairs, Communications, The Stamford Health Foundation, Physician Relations, and Marketing.
This individual will work to contribute to the strategic goals of the organization, the Planetree mission and goals of the department, specifically as it relates to the Medical Staff Bylaws, Joint Commission, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulatory and/or accrediting agencies standards.
Please note that this is a Part Time, in-person position (15 hours per week)
