The Medical Staff Analyst will be directly responsible for maintaining databases and serves as a support service to the Medical Staff Office and liaison with the IT and Quality Department. The Analyst provides administrative, analytical, technical support and expertise necessary for the operation of the Medical Staff Services department as primary duties, back-up for the Medical Staff Coordinator and Credentialing Coordinator. This position reports to the Medical Staff Director.

Ability to independently organize and prioritize tasks.
Good overall knowledge of Medical Staff Office practices, procedures and guidelines.
Ability to seek out new methods and principles to improve services.
Bilingual English/Spanish-preferred.
Basic knowledge of Roberts Rules of Order.
Required Experience
Work Experience:
Three (3) years of related work experience in a healthcare setting. Knowledge of The Joint Commission Medical Staff Standards preferred.
License/Registration/Certification:
Certification by the National Association of Medical Staff Services as a CPCS or CPMSM preferred.
Education and Training:
High School graduate or equivalent.
Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
