Reliant Medical Group is seeking a Patient Service Specialist (Medical Receptionist) to join our exciting and innovative organization!

Department: Gastroenterology

Position:Full time 38.75 hours per week

Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30am

  • 5:00pm &8:00am

  • 4:30pm

No weekends or holidays

Responsibilities

Coordinates the provision of multiple services to patients performing a full range of administrative support services for clinic/site including collection of co-payments, registration and scheduling of patients for medical procedures, tests, associated ancillary services and other related duties including reception. Responsible for providing the highest level of patient/customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma with additional specialized medical secretarial/medical office training preferred

  • Demonstrated superior customer service skills, including the ability to multi-task and resolve patient concerns in a timely manner

  • Ability to think critically and exercise sound judgment

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Knowledge of various software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc

As the Clinician lead, the Specialist leads training in their specialty, prepares and/or conducts training programs, and delivers training programs to train all levels of personnel, including case managers, clinicians, and other staff. This position is remote and requires frequent travel within the United States. Duties include: * Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and help develop criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. * Contributes to completion of targeted training programs and projects * Provides training and technical assistance * Support the development and design of training material * Oversees the delivery of on-site and/or virtual training classes in their specialty area * Maintains current knowledge of policies and procedures applicable to the operations of the care provider network Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Sciences or a related field with at least 5 years of experience * Master's level degree in Social Work or Counseling strongly preferred. Licensure also preferred. * Experience providing training or technical assistance to different audiences * Understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt delivery/training style as needed * Experience providing mental health/clinical services at a care provider * Strong experience in the coordination of clinical services * Experience with various de- escalation techniques and providing crisis management * Demonstrated understanding and previous application of trauma informed care principles * Bilingual English/Spanish a plus * Excellent communication skills * Must be able to travel within the United States * This position requires a Background Check The likely salary range for this position is $64,000 - $96,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
